Job Description:
The Service Writer is responsible for providing technical support to our customers in the field.
This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment and assisting in the installation of new equipment.
This individual will also be responsible for assisting with customer service and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by answering phones, email, and other communication with customers in a timely manner.
Maintain service orders with inventory.
Provide installation assistance to customers in the field.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and assist with customer service when needed.
Maintain a clean work area.
Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Adhere to all safety procedures and practices.
Follow all OSHA safety procedures and standards.
Follow all Company policies and procedures regarding work place safety issues.
Requirements:
To perform the essential functions of this position, an individual must be able to perform the following duties:
Must have a valid Carle Place, NY driver's license, good driving record, and be able to pass a drug test.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
at a time, multiple times a day.
