, one of the largest environmental testing firms in the United States, is currently seeking a Part Time Commercial Laboratory Cleaner/Janitor for its busy Carle Place, NY location.
The role encompass for cleaning both our 528 and 516 building locations.
This position offers the chance to work for a stable company, a great team, and provides the opportunity to grow within.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Must be able to distinguish appropriate cleaning products and apply as directed to appropriate cleaning areas.
Ensure general cleanliness of the laboratory in all areas.
Ensure trash removal from common areas of the facility and collect all recyclable items.
Clean the bathrooms within the laboratory.
Taking out trash to the trash compactor.
Break down boxes when needed.
Responsible for cleaning, mopping, sweeping, dusting and vacuuming all common areas of the building.
Maintain and stock all necessary supplies for all lavatories and break rooms Requirements:
High School degree or equivalent is required.
Must have some cleaning experience.
Must be able to lift, stand, reach, and bend.
Must be able to stand and walk for various lengths of times.
Must have a good attitude and be personable.
Must be able to multi-task Must be able to lift 35 to 40 pounds.
Must be able to work extra hours and weekends if needed Must have great communication skills.
Available Shift:
